WELCOME PARENTS!

We are excited for another year at the Work of Christ Summer camp! With 2024 being the 45th year of our community's call to this ministry, we are ready to celebrate what Christ has been doing through the service, surrender, and supplication for four decades, spanning generations of campers and staff. We look forward to leading your child to a deeper understanding and relationship with Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We recognize your commitment to your child's Christian formation and this opportunity to impress upon them the benefits of knowing, loving and following the Lord. At such an early and impressionable age, camp presents a unique environment: one set apart from the world, steeped in God's beautiful natural creation, where praise & worship, friendship & fun, activities & entertainment all go hand in hand.

We appreciate your trust in us, in our volunteer staff, and in our mission and tradition to impress upon your child God's love for them and the important role of the Holy Spirit in attaining a deeper relationship with God. We thank your for support, prayers, and faith in our camp as a major catalyst for experiencing God and developing strong, Christ-centered relationships that can and DO last a lifetime. We (both Christopher and Linda) are living examples that the relationships built with God and other campers will last for a lifetime, and BEYOND! We were both WOC summer campers as children!

If you are a former WOC summer camper, you know what we mean, and that is likely why you are here! If you have a testimony to share with us on how camp has made a permanent impact on your life, please tell us your story in the comments section of the website. We would love to hear how God has grown the seeds that Summer Camp has helped to plant or water!

Please continue to pray for us, our staff, the facilities, good weather, and most importantly, your child.

May God bless your family and reward the faith and trust you put in the Lord that His will be done in your child's life at camp this year.

Are you a first-time-to-camp family?
Or have your kids attended before and you want to put your future campers on our radar so you don't miss registration announcements?

Please fill out the form below before registering as a site member, so we can contact you when we know our ability to admit new campers this year and in the future. Thanks!
* The form above is not a Camper Registration application form, merely a request to have your camper considered for attending camp, this year or in the future.
Praise and Worship
Campers and Staff will pray and worship together on a daily basis. With flute and lyre (guitars and drums), campers will learn how and why to praise the Lord. Campers will be prayed with to receive gifts from the Holy Spirit to aid in a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Bible Study
Campers will study the camp themes and scriptures within their own Bibles. They will learn what God is trying to say to them through His word and how to contemplate on His love for them.
Music and Campfires
Campers will participate in songs, skits, and shows every night. They will be entertained by their fellow campers and by the "extremely skilled" staff. They may even become a camp star themselves.
Fishing and boating
Campers will have the opportunity to go fishing every day and even cruise the lake in a canoe or rowboat, either with a buddy or with a staffer (based on swimming ability).
Crafts
Campers will be able to participate in a number of crafts daily, including guitar, campfire cookery, dance, handcrafts, nature, sports and more.
Swimming
The beautiful lake at camp provides safe swimming areas for all levels of swimmers and non-swimmers, supervised carefully by certified lifeguards and several additional adults. Campers can play on the sandy beach, jump off the floating dock, swing off the tarzan rope or simply play in water. Campers will take a swim test to determine their ability, which will dictate which activities and areas in which they will be allowed to participate.
Air Rifles
Kids learn the skill of BB gun-shooting on a safe and supervised course. While camp provides all necessary equipment, campers who may prefer to bring their own are allowed to after check-in inspection.
Archery
Kids learn the skill of archery on a safe and supervised course. While camp provides all necessary equipment, campers who may prefer to bring their own are allowed to after check-in inspection.
